Salish sea with mountain Lanscape lit up at night with city lights

This photograph was taken on the back roads around the Salish Sea on the Olympic Peninsula.

This was the first video that I created about STEAM in education.

I photographed this building in Port Angeles, Washington. I used my Canon R6 mark ii camera with an RF 70-200mm L F2.8 lens. I also added my watermark using Adobe Illustrator and edited in Photoshop.

I worked on still life photography. This one really stood out to me due to personal attachment. It also stood out because of the quality and effect of this photograph. Being a papermaker is not easy. Nonetheless, it is a career where pride in work becomes a way of life. Fraternity in the brotherhood of union members also becomes a way of life. I used Adobe Photoshop for several tasks. I created the ripped edges border and removed a logo from the boot. I also created a vignette effect and edited the colors. the wear and tear on the items were created through hard work.

Port Angeles, Washington Mckinley mill at sunset with mountains in the background

As the sun set over the Mckinley Paper Mill in Port Angeles, Washington, I am reminded of the beautiful sunrises. I have seen many sunsets here. I have observed them over the years while working here. I miss my career here, and I am sad to see this mill shut down. Yet, I look ahead to the future and all of the opportunities that await me.
