I worked on still life photography. This one really stood out to me due to personal attachment. It also stood out because of the quality and effect of this photograph. Being a papermaker is not easy. Nonetheless, it is a career where pride in work becomes a way of life. Fraternity in the brotherhood of union members also becomes a way of life. I used Adobe Photoshop for several tasks. I created the ripped edges border and removed a logo from the boot. I also created a vignette effect and edited the colors. the wear and tear on the items were created through hard work.

Low light photography using my Canon R6 mark ii camera with an RF 70-200mm L F2.8 lens at the Bremerton, Washington Krampus parade. I used Adobe Photoshop to reduce background exposure. This adjustment brought the focus to where it is meant to be. This Parade was a lot of fun and I look ahead to seeing it again next year.

As the sun set over the Mckinley Paper Mill in Port Angeles, Washington, I am reminded of the beautiful sunrises. I have seen many sunsets here. I have observed them over the years while working here. I miss my career here, and I am sad to see this mill shut down. Yet, I look ahead to the future and all of the opportunities that await me.
